Description
Character: Star Struck ( OC, My Little Pony)
Materials: Minky, suedecloth.
Size: Approx. 14.5" to the top of her mane.
Second commission out of two.
I'm really liking my filly pattern improvements! I've still got a few things I'd like to tweak next time round, but after that it'll pretty much be where I want it. I'm also finding it a lot easier to make forelocks. Forelocks have always given me trouble, and I've generally had to make several prototypes before being satisfied. This one I got right without doing any (thank god - if I'd had to redo all that embroidery
) I really like the front view too. I prefer forelocks that sweep a little to the side for all ponies - I think it looks a little strange from the front when the forelock is right in the centre of the head, so I'm glad hers turned out how I wanted 
Star Struck is made from Dusty Blue, Electric Blue, Aqua, Eggplant, Turquoise and Azure minky. Her tooth is made from suedecloth, and her eyes and mane details are all machine embroidered.
Before anyone says anything, yes I know I don't normally take OC commissions. I made an exception this time because Star Struck is an OC I've been fond of for a while. She was a lot of work (which a lot of OCs are) so I still don't intend to start making OCs just yet. I love her design, but I am so glad she's finished.
