MLP FiM: Twilight Ponydoll

Character: Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony)
Materials: Minky.
Size: 6" from hoof bottom to top of head.

I'm really pleased with how Twi turned out, and I really like her bangs. They're not quite show accurate, but I think they look really cute. Unfortunately light purples tend to look washed out in most of my photos, she's a much nicer shade in real life. I gave her closed wings due to the size of my ponydolls. The regular pegasus wings already take up pretty much all of the back and cover most of their cutie marks, and since Twi's got slightly bigger wings I decided to just make them closed to keep things a bit simpler.

So far Twi has ended up my niece's favourite out of the ponydolls I've finished. She said she's very beautiful, but she still calls poor Applejack a 'he' haha.

Twilight is made from lilac, fuchsia, purple and midnight blue minky. Her eyes, cutie marks and mane/tail/wing markings are machine embroidered. Her mouth and nostrils are thread sculpted.
