Description
Character: Charmander and Pikachu (Pokemon)
Materials: Minky, suedecloth.
Size: Charmander: Approx 11" tall (without hat). Pikachu Pumpkin: Approx. 7" to the top of the ears
I don't know why, but for me patterning bipedal characters is incredibly difficult. Quadruped patterns I barely have to prototype anymore, but two legged things give me trouble >.< So I guess it's good to get some practice
As it turns out, Charmander's head was the most difficult thing to get right. I must've made about six prototypes before I was happy 
Anyway, both Charmander and his pumpkin are made of minky fabric (the pumpkin is made from one of Shannon's latest colours - Pumpkin XD) and Charmander's hat and claws are made of suedecloth. Both their faces are machine embroidered, and I took the opportunity to try embroidering a mouth for the first time - I'm pretty happy with the results
These two were a commission, and are not for sale.
Charmander, Pikachu and Pokemon belong to Nintendo.
