Pokemon: Sailor Clefable and Tuxedo Gengar

Character: Tuxedo Gengar (Pokemon, Sailor Moon)
Materials: Minky, suedecloth, satin, shiny stretch nylon, gold fabric.
Size: Gengar is approx 10" tall to the top of his spikes, Clefable is approx. 9.5" tall to the top of her hair.



Oh boy am I glad to have this pair finished. Completely underestimated the amount of work they would be, but I am so super pleased with how they turned out. I adore Sailor Moon and Pokemon, so when this commission was first asked about I got so darn excited haha. The compact was definitely the most complicated accessory, though I had to redo the collar a few times as well to get the stripes right. Gengar was simple compared to Clefable, the main trouble I had was figuring out how to make the cape cooperate with his back spikes aha. The rose wasn't difficult, just time consuming (so many petals~!!) I won't be remaking these, though I'd be fine with remaking a regular Clefable or Gengar~

Gengar is made from violet minky. He features a machine embroidered face with a suedecloth rose and mask, both of which are magnetic. His cape and top hat are made of satin, and his bow tie is cotton.

Clefable is made from baby pink, chocolate and dusty rose minky. She features a machine embroidered face and ear gems and suedecloth toes. Her tiara is a gold fabric I can't recall the name of, with a red gem. Her bow is satin, and the cosmic heart compact is made of satin and gold fabric, with embroidery and a centre gem. Her collar is a shimmery stretch nylon fabric with sewn ribbon detailing.
